However, as business grows, data risks also emerge. To support the sustainable development of financial business, improving data disaster recovery construction has become a top priority. According to the Hebei Provincial Finance Department’s three-year work plan for information construction and the requirements for the construction of an integrated financial business system, Hebei’s financial system urgently needs to build a stable, efficient, and flexible data disaster recovery system to ensure business continuity and data security.

I2 Solution


In response to the actual needs of Hebei’s financial system, Information2 designed a “Same-City Dual-Active + Remote Disaster Recovery” construction solution. This solution leverages Information2’s core technologies to provide a comprehensive and efficient data disaster recovery solution for the Hebei Provincial Finance Department and its eleven prefectural-level cities.

  • Same-City Dual-Active Construction: Information2’s i2Active technology is used for local fault-tolerant dual-active construction of the core database system. Through this technology, even in the event of a catastrophic incident, second-level takeover can be achieved to ensure the continuity of systems at both municipal and provincial levels.
  • Remote Disaster Recovery Construction: Data from the eleven prefectural-level cities is synchronized to the provincial disaster recovery data area in real-time through Information2’s data replication technology. This measure not only ensures data security but also improves business continuity.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility and Cost Optimization: Addressing the issue of different operating system platforms and database versions between Hebei’s financial system and the data disaster recovery area, Information2 provides cross-operating system platform/database version disaster recovery replication technology. This technology enables real-time synchronization of core production database data to the disaster recovery database, reducing hardware costs and facilitating database version upgrades and iterations.

Decentralized Management and Simplified Operations and Maintenance: The province-wide database disaster recovery platform is built using Information2’s i2UP unified management platform, enabling multi-tenant decentralized management and operations and maintenance across prefecture-level cities. The fully graphical interface monitoring makes operations and maintenance more intuitive and simpler, significantly improving operational efficiency.

Stable Operation and Excellent Performance: Information2’s full/incremental synchronization performance is excellent, with low transactional replication latency, achieving second-level RPO (Recovery Point Objective). This performance ensures rapid data recovery after a disaster, safeguarding business continuity.

Separation of Primary and Backup Databases, Enhancing Efficiency: Without affecting the source-end business, Information2 enables read-write separation between the primary and backup databases. The backup database, which is always in an open state, can handle query tasks, reducing the reporting business access pressure on the primary database and improving the overall system’s operational efficiency.

Flexible Cross-Platform Compatibility: Information2’s cross-operating system platform/database version disaster recovery replication technology enables seamless integration from Unix systems to Linux systems. This technology not only reduces hardware costs but also enhances system flexibility and scalability.

As an important part of Guangxi’s information construction, Guangxi Government Cloud carries numerous government business system operations and data storage tasks. With the continuous development of business systems and the rapid growth of data volume, ensuring data security and business continuity has become a significant challenge for Guangxi Government Cloud.

To improve the resilience of critical information systems against disasters and major incidents and reduce losses caused by them, Guangxi Information Center decided to build a locally unified and real-time data disaster recovery and backup system for business data.

I2 Solution


In response to the needs of Guangxi Government Cloud, Information2 proposed a two-site, three-center disaster recovery solution. This solution leverages Information2’s unified management platform, integrating dynamic file byte-level, database semantic-level, volume block-level, and other data replication technologies to achieve hierarchical disaster recovery management, remote disaster tolerance with high availability (HA), reverse data failover, real-time business synchronization, and other functions.

  • Local to Same-City Heterogeneous Platform Core Business High Availability Disaster Recovery: Between the local data center and the same-city data center, high availability disaster recovery for core business on heterogeneous platforms is achieved. Through Information2’s disaster recovery technology, the rapid switchover and recovery of core businesses between same-city data centers are ensured.
  • Physical Server Backup and Continuous Data Protection: Full backups of critical physical servers are conducted, and continuous data protection is implemented. In case of data anomalies or loss, data can be quickly restored to ensure business continuity.
  • Real-Time Database Synchronization: Important databases are synchronized in real-time to ensure consistency among database data across multiple data centers. In case of database failure, a switchover to the database in another data center can be made swiftly to maintain business continuity.
  • Same-City to Remote Full Server Backup and Continuous Data Protection: Between the same-city data center and the remote data center, full server backups and continuous data protection for critical systems are implemented. Through Information2’s backup and replication technology, data security storage and rapid recovery in the remote data center are ensured.
  • Local to Remote Internal and External Network Data Real-Time Replication: Through a converged server, real-time replication of data between the local data center’s internal and external networks to the remote data center is achieved. This ensures secure data transmission and synchronization in different network environments.

  • i2FFO: Provides timed backup protection for entire systems under Linux/Windows systems, with recovery possible on the DRaaS cloud platform.
  • i2CDP: Based on byte-level replication, provides real-time data protection, reducing bandwidth and system resource usage, enabling data recovery at any point in time.
  • i2Availability: Application high availability software that monitors the source end in real-time and switches to the disaster recovery server immediately upon detecting anomalies, ensuring business continuity.
